Thanks for visiting!

Welcome to our treatment center. The Georgia Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, the Georgia Department of Community Health, and the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations regulate our program on a regular basis, and ensure that we continue to provide quality care to those suffering from opioid use disorder. Our mission at DM & ADR is to provide a therapeutic environment in which to treat one's addiction to pain medication and/or heroin. We will strive to reduce the risks associated with this addiction by providing education, individual counseling, support groups, and medication therapy.

We aim for our patients to regain control of their lives and maintain healthy, functional lifestyles. We will offer all the assistance possible to help patients regain the desire and self-esteem to improve their lives. We will use methadone or buprenorphine as the primary intervention to stabilize a person physically, to interrupt the pattern of drug seeking behavior and craving, and then, utilizing group therapy and counseling, begin the process of recovery by healing the mind, body, and spirit.

Opioid use disorder is a primary, progressive, and chronic disease that may end in death, if left untreated. Addiction to opiates involves loss of personal control, compulsive behavior, and tolerance to opiates. Individuals dependent upon these drugs continue to use opiates and other drugs despite disastrous personal consequences.

Intervention and treatment with methadone maintenance, education, counseling, medical and nursing care, group therapy, and peer support afford the addicted person the best opportunity to save their own life, and embark on a life of recovery.

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting Georgia Medicaid.
